Louis Otto "Big Lou" Driscoll, Jr. is a business owner, and resident of Paradise Valley. Arizona. He is the father of Louis Otto Driscoll III. Along with his wife Caroline, he owns Driscoll Digital Industries, a high tech company that originated in Cincinnati, Ohio, but relocated to Paradise Valley to more easily service large contracts with the Paradise Valley Chemical Plant.
According to his son, Louis, he loves golf, and schmoozing up to his big ticket clients (the main one of note being Paradise Valley Chemical's evil CEO, Danielle Atron).
Big Lou's company's number of employees are unknown, but we do know that two main characters in the show work for him - his own son, and the show's titular character Alex Mack. As a Owner/CEO, Big Lou briefly has a tumultuous working relationship with his son. Louis expresses his disdain with working there, and briefly quits. After quitting, Louis briefly helps Alex out of a jam (where she becomes bogged down with paperwork). Realizing how inefficient the manual paperwork is, Louis digitizes it, and posts it to the central computer server of the company to make it easier to operate. As a result, Big Lou offers to hire Louis back. He also agrees to provide more guidance to Louis, and to give him feedback on how he's doing.
Big Lou is only seen in the episode titled "Driving" (first aired at 8 PM on Nickelodeon's SNICK lineup, Saturday September 23, 1997). He is however occasionally mentioned in conversation by Louis and other characters both before and after that particular episode.
In the series, Big Lou was portrayed by Tom Virtue.
